Services: Literacy classes by volunteers trained in teaching reading and writing
to adult non-readers. Free classes are offered during the day and evenings at
the central office and satellite locations. Fees for workbooks accepted but not
required. LIFT has a curriculum designed to teach people who have dyslexia and
language processing disorders. English as a Second Language (ESL) literacy,
Family Literacy program, and pre-GED preparation classes are also offered at no
cost
