Services: Unplanned pregnancy services are offered including traditional and
open adoption services (allowingbirthparent(s) to choose, correspond with,
and/or meet the adoptive parents), adoptive parent support group and
placement of infants and older children for adoption. Post-adoption services are
available to provide mental health and support services to families and children
adopted through the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services
(TDPRS). Specialized Foster Care program develops and trains foster parents to
care for children placed through TDPRS. On-going case management is
provided to all foster families and children in care. Also work in conjuction with
TDPRS for older child adoption & foster/adopt.

Our Friends` Place is dedicated to providing a foundation for girls and young women to build from adversity by learing a self-reliant approach towards their own development. Programs: Therapeutic Foster Group Homes for Girls is a 24 hour residential program licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services serving girls ages 10 - 17. Many clients have a history of abuse, neglect, abandonment, and behavioral difficulties or do not have someone who can care for them at this time. Clients attend public schools. Client services include individual, group and family therapy, psychiatric consultation, educational support, life skills training and a structured family-like enviornment. Progam goals are to assist girls to heal and attain age appropriate life and academic skills, and whenever possible family reunification. Transitional Living Center for Young Women is shared apartment living program for single non-parenting young women ages 18 - 24. Clients have their own bedroom and shared living and kitchen area with up to two other clients. All clients must be in an educational or vocational program and be employhed. Client services include assistance with job search, life skills training, and case management. Program goals are to assist young women to become economically self-sufficient.
